Description

The 13" Kestrel Tomahawk is a highly capable tool and is a more compact version of the venerable 18" RMJ Eagle Talon. This multi-use tomahawk was designed to cut through difficult obstacles as well as for use as a breaching and extraction tool on buildings and/or vehicles. It is a tool intended to help you win the day, whatever challenges you may face. RMJ considers weight to be an asset of the Kestrel and at 1 pound 9 ounces it packs a punch. The 13” length means it can also be wielded effectively in tight spaces.

The Kestrel offers full tang construction made from 3/8" 80CRV2 carbon steel and has a Tungsten Cerakote finish for increased corrosion and wear resistance. This is a very heavy use tool and the full tang construction absorbs impact while the hardened striking surface of the head delivers powerful impact force without chipping or shattering. The  G10 handle scales offer a contoured 3D texture that works effectively in both wet and dry environments without an overly aggressive feel. The 3” forward facing edge is razor sharp and is complimented by a 3" distal tapered spike that can be used for digging, shattering tempered glass, penetrating sheet metal, hacking through concrete and wood or breaking chains and hardened padlocks. It is also a highly functional piece of kit for first responders who require a tool for breach and extraction work. The 13" length won't impede movement yet can make quick work of penetrating anything that it comes in contact with.

Great for:  Breach | Utility | Emergency / Safety | Preparedness Kit
